Background[]

This session was played using a proximity chat mod for Among Us, which enables players to communicate with each other in-game without the need for external software. Additionally, the mod simulates real-time sound, allowing the user to hear everything that's going on around them, meaning that the closer they are to someone, the louder their actions become.

Aftermath[]

After filming their Among Us event, the Game Grumps asked all participants to retain from posting any videos of their joint play session to YouTube before the agreed date in order to better promote all featured creators. Mark never read the disclaimer in the invite and ended up uploading the segment to his YouTube channel ahead of schedule. He later apologized in a follow-up episode and asked of his audience to support other participants by liking and commenting on their videos, while disliking his.

Trivia[]

The thumbnail's caption is an offshoot of "I see dead people" meme from the movie The Sixth Sense.
Alanah's YouTube link in Mark's description leads to his channel instead of hers. This was done as a jest, after she jokingly introduced herself as Markiplier.
