Description
Icarus was a brash fool who couldn't invent wings to save his life... AND HE DIDN'T! BECAUSE HE BURNT UP! AND IS NOW NOT ALIVE!
Summary[]
Mark and Ethan each build a bird's wing for one of their arms by attaching fake feathers to a piece of cardboard in a sarcastic attempt to outdo Icarus' mythical flight. Nestor and Fischbach's wings consisted solely of black and white feathers, respectively, to reflect their Unus and Annus personas. Once completed, the two join together and fly out of the Earth's stratosphere directly into the sun, where they're confronted by a flaming angelic figure holding a Subway sandwich and a drink, as the video comes to a close.

- In Greek mythology, Icarus was the son of Daedalus who built wings of wax for the two to escape Minos. Ignoring the warnings of his father, Icarus flew too close to the sun, which melted his wings of wax, causing him to plummet into the sea, where he drowned. The phrase "don't fly too close to the sun" is used as an idiom for recklessness and defiance of limitations.
