- The narrator remarks that he "will never understand how a goat can attract users" referring to a widespread popularity of Goat Simulator.
- The narrator's phrase "the goat was a lie" is a parody of The Cake Is a Lie meme popularized by a quote from Portal series. It was often used to convey the message that a promised gift is being used to motivate without any intent of delivering.
- The end credits use "these aren't the droids you're looking for" quote from Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. This sarcastic phrase is often used to inform someone they are pursuing the wrong course of action.
