"THIS CHALLENGE BROKE ME: 100000 Steps in a Single Day" is a vlog episode by Markiplier.
Description
I'm not sure why... but a while back I attempted to walk 100,000 steps in a single day. That's more than the length of a marathon and I mostly did it indoors... here is the story of what this challenge did to my body.
Summary[]
Mark documents his attempt to achieve 100,000 steps in a single day, while using an Apple Watch to keep track of his progress. In the evening, the watch's battery runs out, forcing him to use a pedometer phone app instead. Fischbach eventually abandoned the challenge at around 70,000 steps, after his legs started to give out from exhaustion.
Trivia[]
- In comparison to Mark's routine, an average person usually takes somewhere between 3,000 to 5,000 steps per day.
