Summary[]
Continuing through the hunting grounds, Tasi discovers a torture chamber where they kept Richard, one of her companions. Attempting to rescue him from Leon, who was previously turned into a ghoul, Richard turns against Tasi and attacks her, while begging for his life. In a fit of rage, Tasi, under the influence of some darker power, ends up killing Richard for his betrayal and attempts to leave the compound with the power cell, before the Shadow causes a cave-in and nearly kills her, but is saved once again by Tin Hinan, who leads her out of the rubble. Rummaging through ancient Roman catacombs, Tasi passes through a number of ghoul-infested hallways, trying to avoid their attention as they feast on corpses. Making her way out of the tomb, Tasi reactivates the gate and teleports to the the theater, moment before the Shadow encompasses the area, destroying the chamber portal. After completing the theater puzzle, The Empress comes back to talk to Tasi, warning her about a supposed future where her unborn child bears an unknown terminal illness. She gives promise of a cure and asks of Tasi to follow her to the factory.
