Ryan Magee is a close friend of Markiplier and was a childhood friend of the late Daniel Kyre. He was one of the major hosts on the channel Cyndago, working with Daniel, Mark, and Matt Watson on multiple projects. Following Daniel's passing, Cyndago uploaded a video announcing the dissolution of Cyndago, but that Ryan and Matt would continue to work with Mark, with Matt becoming Mark's editor.

Almost a year after Daniel's death, Ryan and Matt quit working for Mark after difficulties ^[1]He with "keep[ing] the work and the friendship separate". Ryan and Matt currently work for the Game Grumps and launched their own gameplay channel called SuperMega.

Trivia

On January 2, 2016, Ryan brought home his dog Lego, while Mark was in Cincinnati. Lego was featured in NEW PUPPY FRIEND!!.
In Bean Boozled Challenge w/ Ninja Brian, Ryan notes to having poor pharyngeal reflex.
Ryan has two tattoos: the Iron Giant on his right shoulder and an infinity triangle on his left calf, which is dedicated to Daniel.
