In 2012, seven tourists that were given as missing when going on a hiking in a small island located in a Brazilian archipelago. The locals affirm to have found dilacerated corpses. They are convinced that this was not caused by an animal attack. However, local authorities affirmed that no one and no corpse has been found. They seemed to avoid going further with the searches.
