Kholat is an indie survival-horror game played by Markiplier.
Game Information[]
The game's premises is based on a true event that took place in northern Ural mountains in Russia in the 1950s where a group of nine college students went missing on a hiking trip and weren't seen for days. After some time, a search party was dispatched to locate the missing students only to find the majority of their corpses lying around the campsite. The remaining bodies were discovered between the period of four months, after the snow and ice had thawed out. The students were found dead with claw marks, fractured skulls, and other internal injuries despite there being no evidence of an actual struggle and one of the victims even had orange skin. The game takes place after the incident where an unknown individual is in the haunted realms of the Russian wilderness and is descending into madness according to a mysterious voice that follows him/her around. The game was highly rated on Steam and has received dozens of perfect scores leaving Markiplier to play the game upon requests and his interest in the actual game.
