"KILL IT WITH FIRE!" is the 11th episode of The Forest's full release and the 21st overall episode of Markiplier's playthrough, featuring Bob and Wade.
Description
The Forest returns and WE return to the caves to find out what happened to our child... whatever their name was...
Summary[]
The video opens up with a title card informing the viewer that Mark didn't transfer the game's save data to his new computer (despite the fact that The Forest is compatible with Steam cloud), and, as a result, had to redo the opening segment with a new character from Bob's save file, all while Mark's Twitch chat continues to make jokes at his expense. This is interrupted by an inexplicable jump scare edited into Mark's introduction, with the words "You shouldn't have opened the door" overlaid across the screen.
Once the gameplay portion of the episode begins, Mark ventures through the forest and tries to make it back to the original base where Bob and Wade are, while avoiding the cannibals in a nearby camp that roam the area. While he's making his way back, he hears the sounds of the cannibals and the howl of a mutant enemy that he and the others have yet to run into.
Mark eventually makes it back to the base where he sees Wade tossing a spear and decides to craft his own from two sticks he had and some bones from a bone box. He then attempts to catch a bird by throwing his spear at it, but ends up losing the weapon after the second throw. Later, while Mark scavenges for sticks and cloth, Bob and Wade are attempting to locate a cave where Mark lost their climbing gear and chainsaw on his previous save. Sometime after, Mark comes across a cave and finds a picture with an 'X' mark on it. Heading inside, he finds a new chainsaw, with Bob and Wade following closely behind.
As the group explores the cave, Wade discovers gun ammo and Mark comes across yet another picture, along with several candy bars, a chainsaw manual and climbing gear needed to get out of the cave. The trio eventually climbs back to the surface, with Mark asking one of them to pull out a map to another cave that they have to get to later, before heading back to their base. On their way back, Mark laments about losing his original spear, later attempting to kill a lizard in front of the base's middle door, but ends up missing his target.
Afterwards, Mark starts a campfire with his lighter and ends up eating a cooked human leg to see if his actions would have any negative consequences on his player character. Having suffered no drawbacks, Mark crafts another spear, but is disappointed when he's prevented by the game from possessing more than one weapon at a time. He gives chase to the aforementioned lizard with his new spear, but the creature ends up getting killed by the Happy Birthday Trap set up in the front of their base, with Mark barely avoiding getting caught in the spiked mesh of sticks. Mark then carves up the lizard for its skin and food, and spends the remainder of the night practicing his spear throws.
At the end of the video, Mark promoted "Markiplier's Big Ass Bake Sale."
