Background[]
Mark uses Steam Game Gauntlet, a random number generator website that specializes in listing out random Steam games without personalized recommendations. Mark's first of three games was Shadow Wolf Mysteries: Bane of the Family Collector's Edition, but having landed on it before recording, Mark chose not to play it for his video. The other two titles were Earth Attack and Sophisticated Puzzles.

Three months later on November 15, Markiplier uploaded a second video where he used the Steam Game Gauntlet once more to play three randomly selected games; Dungeoneer, Total Ski Jump, and Realm of Alters. Just like before, he would leave semi-sarcastic Steam reviews of the three games after finishing his playthrough.
