Description
There's an infinite ocean of numbers between 1 and 2. An uncountable eternity of decimals so similar it would take a thousand lifetimes to discern a single difference. An endless maze of digits so divergent you'd lose hope of ever seeing a whole number again. And yet with the addition of a single number, even amongst all those impossible infinites, 1 will turn to 2.
And with a single decision... 2 becomes 1.
Summary[]
After Mark creates a huge wormhole to fix everything, the captain holds on to Mark and soon the wormhole collapses. Mark at first berates the captain for causing all their problems and not letting him fix it, but then Mark realizes that he was the one responsible for the wormhole. The captain forgives Mark and the two reconcile, with Mark praising the captain for never giving up hope. The whole setting collapses and the captain wakes up on the ship, with everything back to normal. Gunther (Mick Lauer) tells the captain he is heading below to hunt for any aliens that snuck onboard. Celci (Pamela Horton) and Burt (Bob Muyskens) compliment the captain, saying they are right where they need to be. Mark then shows the captain where they are landing and once again thanks the captain for everything. The end credits roll, with the views having seemingly achieved the good ending.
