Death Dice Overdose is a game played by Markiplier.
Game Information[]
The concept of Death Dice Overdose is that the gods are gambling, and showering dice from the sky. The player controls a businessman at a bus stop, who is caught in the midst of the dangerous storm, and must dodge the precipitation whilst collecting pills that reduce stress. In addition to normal dice, the player must avoid or exploit special dice that produce a random effect, such as instantly spawning more pills or creating a brief explosion. The player's objective is to dodge the dice for as long as possible without dying from traumatic shock, being killed by a falling object, or being killed by a random trap. When the player collects enough pills in the midst of gameplay, there is a chance of achieving an overdose, in which the entire background of the game becomes distorted into a more colorful atmosphere.

Death Dice Overdose is a quick-paced action flash game, and is among the first let's-plays that Markiplier recorded on a day when he was sick. Before playing Death Dice Overdose, Markiplier made a joke about taking a ridiculous dose of cold medicine prior to recording, but although the statement was untrue, he was still under the influence of cold medicine that greatly heightened his excitability and altered his mood.
When Mark played the game, the instructions clearly mentioned the overdose mechanic of the game, in which a black bar is mentioned. Thus, his goal for the entire game was to completely fill the left side of the stress meter so that he can overdose. Unfortunately, what he failed to realize was that the act of bringing the stress meter to the left and into the black area was the overdose.
Being one of the first let's-plays in which Markiplier was sick, but hopped up on cold medicine, the personality change that Mark underwent was characterized by high energy, but also loopiness. This wacky combination led to Markiplier generally having a lot of fun throughout the game, but also resulted in him screaming loudly as he does in rage games, while being full of jokes and gusteau at the same time. In a way, Markiplier was raging without being angry. Markiplier would later come to make more let's-play videos where he plays a game on a sick day, such as in XCVB, Deputy Dangle, and in the third I Am Bread let's-play.
