Brutal DOOM is an expansion-pack or mod based on the first-person shooter game that began its own genre.
The mod pack requires the original DOOM game, but when downloaded, it dramatically enhances the game by adding many new features, such as an increased number of actions that the player can make (crouching, jumping, aiming), and adding new levels. The most clearly displayed aspect of the mod was an increase in the amount of blood and gore.
